this is the only kind of Double Weapon,that makes anyhow sense and looks also somehow good

The Double Sword or alias Blade Staff, because the handling of this Weapon is more similar to a Battle Staff (Pole), than that of a Sword or of that from Dual Swords.

Everything else there looks more like unlogical anime stuff or like weapons, that could come from games like Diabolo or WoW ...
Double Scythe would be maybe the only one, beneath Blade Staffs, that would go through, but axes and hammers are absolute imo a NO GO

When you want to see these weapons in action, you people have just to play Final Fantasy 9, there the main hero wields these kind of Weapons, later, once he goes away from using simple daggers, his stronger weapons are all Blade Staffs, Zidane Tribal

I like the idea, but it won't happen in GW1, maybe in GW2. I would love to see a Darth Maul Lightsaber in the game

Edit: Real suggestion. Seeing how the double-bladed swords/axes/scythes that are suggested throughout the thread are rather big, why not make them "Norn-only" weapons for GW2? Gotta be big to hold big weapons like that. And yes, the double-bladed sword can be small, but the other two, not so much. Just a thought.

Not because of the concept- two handed swords are cool, just the implementation could be 10000x better then you made it out to be.
